Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Product Marketing Director is a storyteller with a passion for bringing products to life through resonant campaigns and promotion strategies, supporting Candid Health’s rapid product development roadmap. The successful candidate brings significant experience in developing customer-friendly messages and leading impactful go-to-market strategies that result in wide adoption and high customer retention. This leader will serve as the primary liaison between Product Development/Management, Marketing, and Sales to ensure maximum mind share, market share, and revenue within target provider segments.

Responsibilities: 

  • Scale our product marketing function (and core processes) with a focus on driving pipeline, solution value, and customer value realization. 

  • Be the specialist on our existing customers and potential buyers and influencers.

  • Cultivate a solid understanding of our shifting competitor landscape by developing and sharing market insights on key competitors.

  • Establish the positioning of Candid Health’s platform, including developing and maintaining our key differentiators, value propositions, and messaging.

  • Work with product and commercial teams to coordinate and lead the development and implementation of end-to-end launch plans for new features, products, and technology integrations.

  • Enable our commercial teams with materials such as win/loss analysis, battle cards, objection handling, pitch decks, RFP templates, website copy and content, one-pagers, stats and facts, and demo videos. 

  • Support the development of our Demand Generation and ABM efforts by understanding content messaging gaps and developing custom positioning and materials to engage target accounts. 

  • Support the Content Marketing function in setting our thought leadership and demand content agenda in line with our commercial objectives.

  • Manage and ensure the success of Customer Lifecycle Marketing initiatives, including advocacy, references, community, and be a strong contributor to successful upsell strategies.

  • Set clear goals and product marketing Key Performance Indicators with support from the team. 

  • Drive the strategic GTM direction for segment growth, including developing core use cases, buyer messaging, sales plays, and GTM approach.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience, ideally including leadership roles in product marketing 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively lead multiple partners and projects with tight deadlines

  • Proven ability to build and scale a function as the team’s first product marketing hire

  • Success in developing strong internal and external relationships

  • Fluency in recent news, cultural trends, and policy changes and able to translate that knowledge into concrete strategic actions

  • Strong imagination, instincts and judgment in transforming complex topics and information into captivating, relevant content

  • Proven acuity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and continuously adapt to new challenges and dynamic priorities, while maintaining professional grace and a sense of humor

  • Strong technical knowledge of a broad range virtual event platforms, virtual event production approaches and modern marketing automation, analytics and technology 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically advanced Excel and PowerPoint), virtual event platforms (Hopin, Zoom, others) and integrations to track lead generation (Salesforce.com, HubSpot) and Google Suite.

Location

This role can either be remote in the US or hybrid based out of one of our offices.  Candid Health has offices in San Francisco (HQ), Denver, and New York.

Pay Transparency

The estimated starting annual salary range for this position is $185,000 - $200,000+ USD. The listed range is a guideline from Pave data, and the actual base salary may be modified based on factors including job-related skills, experience/qualifications, interview performance, market data, etc. Total compensation for this position may also include equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and employee benefits. Given Candid Health’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further note that Candid Health has minimal hierarchy and titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
