Snap Inc is seeking a Product Manager, Ad Ranking to develop and launch machine learning powered products and services for app advertisers. The Ads Product team uses creativity, research, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Snap Inc. This team of Designers, Scientists, and Product Managers works in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that innovate and improve the performance of Snap's advertising platform to drive value and success to our customers.
We're looking for a Product Manager, Ad Ranking to join the Monetization Product team at Snap Inc!
What you'll do:

  • Develop and launch machine learning powered products and services that help our app advertisers, while being conscientious and cautious of impacts on core user experience.
  • Stay up to date on the mobile advertising industry and solutions, ensuring Snap's product portfolio continues to meet the needs of its customers
  • Build and review a roadmap with stakeholders, identifying new problems to tackle and getting strategic buy-in from partners
  • Ship & manage high impact products, prioritizing effectively across competing projects, helping teams collaborate. Advocate improvements for the team and the processes
  • Solicit ideas and feedback, gather requirements, write specs, create wireframes and workflows, and coordinate cross-functionally


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of machine learning technologies
  • Ability to initiate projects, execute against defined objectives, and communicate the results of analyses clearly and effectively
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams
  • Ability to execute against defined objectives both tactically and strategically
  • Ability to initiate and drive emerging projects from strategy to completion
  • Ability to communicate results clearly and effectively across a matrix organization
  • A strategic leader and product-minded thinker


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, economics, or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years of product management at a consumer or enterprise technology company
  • 5+ Experience with large scale machine learning platforms (e.g. feature management, model training and evaluation, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in advanced quantitative subject matter (e.g. statistics, engineering, finance, math)
  • Experience with product design, software development, or interaction design
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, Python, R, Minitab, or SPSS
  • App advertising ecosystem domain expertise (e.g. SKAdNetwork)

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) :
The base salary range for this position is $202,000-$303,000 annually.
Zone B :
The base salary range for this position is $192,000-$288,000 annually.
Zone C :
The base salary range for this position is $172,000-$257,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
