The role
We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Group Product Manager / Product Director for IaaS to join our team. This role will lead a team of technical product managers across various domains such as Compute, Networking, Kubernetes and Storage. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet the sophisticated needs of our customers.
In this position, your responsibility will be to:
- Lead and manage a team of technical product managers in Compute, Networking, Kubernetes and Storage domains
- Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs
- Ensure the successful delivery of key projects involving IaaS services
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define product features, functionality and requirements
- Formulate and prioritize backlogs for various teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Engage with customers to gather insights and feedback, translating them into actionable product improvements
- Oversee and ensure the performance and reliability of IaaS services
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in IaaS technologies to inform product strategy
Requirements:
- Extensive technical expertise in the IaaS stack, specifically in Compute (virtualization), Networking (including cloud networking) and Storage (block, file, S3). Deep technical knowledge in at least two of these areas is essential.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B product management, including leading product management teams and engaging with non-technical business teams.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering complex technical products
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with CxO-level stakeholders effectively
- Leadership qualities that inspire and guide multiple development teams towards achieving product goals
Preferred Experience:
- Candidates from hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure) or other public cloud providers
- Relevant experience in building private clouds within big tech companies (FAANG) or smaller tech firms
- Global market experience
- MBA or equivalent business expertise
- Experience with ML and HPC
Compensation:
We offer competitive salaries, ranging from 150K to 240K base + quarterly bonuses and equity options based on your experience, skills, and location.
