We are seeking a dedicated and outstanding Senior Product Designer to lead streamlining our payments funnel and increasing conversion. In this role, you will work across the entire purchase journey that encompasses multiple platforms, including mobile, desktop, web, console and VR. You'll balance the needs of our global player audience and consider both the user needs and business needs as we create delightful and complete purchase experiences across the Roblox ecosystem.

As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, data scientists, and product marketing, to define and deliver exceptional user experiences that drive engagement and monetization.

You Will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform design decisions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Consider the entire purchase journey, and the unique needs of different user groups around the world
  • Design user interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to use, incorporating well-known patterns and deeply integrate the capabilities of our payment partners.
  • Collaborate with the Design Systems team and drive systems evolution, ensuring consistency and scalability.
  • Advocate for user needs, maintaining a high bar for quality throughout the design process.

You Have:

  • 5+ years in UX/UI design, preferably in the payments growth, monetization, SaaS commerce, consumer e-commerce or game platform growth & engagement
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional interaction design skills and user-centered design thinking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively explaining design concepts and reasoning to others.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$206,370$245,790 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
