What you'll do
- You'll be a key member of the Billing & Monetization team, within the broader Growth org, collaborating with other designers to make their work and the whole team better
- Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering partners to represent the design team and advocate the user voice
- Partner with product designers on other R&D teams to create holistic experiences that span the full customer lifecycle.
- Partner with go-to-market teams to help shape our monetization strategy and to bring a user centric approach to implementing for different customer segments both in product and in marketing surfaces
- Sketch and prototype ideas to quickly access viability, and design the fine grained details of interactions
- Drive high fidelity designs with all the way through to delivery
- Conduct usability testing to inform your design decisions
- Contribute to vision, roadmapping, design critique, sprint planning, and product and design channels
- Contribute to the Lens Design System and Atlassian Design System
- Inspire a culture of design excellence, where innovation is the norm
Your background
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Design organizations that have shipped software to users, working closely with Product and Engineering teammates to develop the strategy and rationale for features.
- Experience working on a monetization, pricing & packaging, billing, or growth design team is advantageous for this role.
- Demonstrable experience working with data, conducting and measuring product design experiments, and a passion for setting and achieving OKRs and metrics that materially impact the business.
- An outstanding portfolio, with presentable case studies showcasing a foundation in typography, interaction and visual design, product sense, and idea generation.
- Experience collaborating with a diverse team in a rapid growth environment. Huge plus if you've worked with remote teammates and understand the communication patterns of working with highly distributed teams.

- Experience with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $136,100 - $181,400
Zone B: $122,500 - $163,300
Zone C: $112,900 - $150,600
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
