This position is based in San Francisco. We will not require daily work in the San Francisco office, however, the ability and willingness to come in on a regular basis when needed. 

Role

As a Product Analyst at Kiavi you will work with internal teams to define, execute and launch improvements to customer experience, implement changes to credit policy / pricing, manage production support & deliver small improvements to enhance customer experience.  You will work with a small team of engineers & internal stakeholders to prioritize a backlog of internal & external problems, collaboratively defining solutions that are tech-debt neutral.


Responsibilities

  • Participates in all stages of the product development cycle and XFN-projects
  • Synthesize and prioritize user needs and own the narrative of what problem should be solved, for whom, how, and why it matters
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria, translating business & customers requirements to technical requirements and vice versa
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, design, and other key stakeholders
  • Organize and facilitate User Acceptance Testing with internal stakeholders
  • Define success metrics and analyze performance, balancing quantitative and qualitative insights to drive decisions and iterate quickly
  • Deep dive into internal systems to understand limitations, problems, propose solutions, gain alignment, manage dependencies, and successfully rollout solutions
  • Conduct pre and post-launch research and monitoring and implementation of feedback
  • Unblock engineering team on questions during the development process. 
  • For the more complex or strategic work items, work closely with more senior PMs
  • Cross-functional communications and expectation management of internal leaders
  • Assist other PMs and Product Designers with customer research scheduling, interviews, user database management, in-app notifications/surveys, etc


Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and collaboration abilities, basic understanding of product management concepts
  • Self-starter with outstanding critical thinking, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills with an ability to facilitate divergent POVs toward convergence
  • Strong customer and business orientation in which outcomes of improved customer experiences benefit operational efficiency of internal teams
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility with stakeholders across levels and lead through influence
  • Organized, independent, detail-oriented, and adaptable multi-tasker comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing projects and priorities
  • Ability to interpret data and tell a compelling story by connecting customer problems, industry dynamics, and business needs via written form, visuals, etc
  • Experience implementing success metrics for various business verticals

Preferred

  • Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant product, customer experience subject matter experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Real Estate and Mortgage experience
  • Tableau, spreadsheets, and understanding of data analysis and structured database concepts
  • Experience working in a remote environment

Kiavi takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Work locations are categorized into one of three tiers based on cost of labor for that geographic area. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Region 1 (San Francisco) - $122,400 - $165,600 + benefits

Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Please note that the pay range listed above reflects the base salary only, and does not include the target value benefits.

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Kiavi offers free employee-only coverage for medical, dental, and vision plans. Dependents receive a heavily discounted premium, competitively placed in the 90th percentile for cost.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA): For those enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), Kiavi provides an annual employer contribution to HSAs: $500 for individual coverage and $1,000 for dependents.
  • Disability and Life Insurance: Immediate access to short-term and long-term disability insurance, as well as group life and AD&D insurance, with coverage at 1x annual salary.
  • Remote Work Policy: Kiavi supports working remotely for day to day activities for most roles and occasionally may ask employees to gather in person for key meetings, trainings, team building etc. For remote workers, Kiavi offers a one-time office setup reimbursement of up to $500 and a monthly $85 stipend for internet and phone expenses. For in-office workers, Kiavi offers employer contributions to commuter benefits account, either for parking or public transportation.
  • Flexible Time Off: Employees are empowered to manage their own time off, with no strict limits, as long as it's approved by their manager.
  • Paid Leaves: Up to 8 weeks of paid leave for medical or caregiver purposes, and 12 weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave. Short-term disability leave is also available for birthing mothers.
  • 401(k) & Company Match: A 401(k) plan managed by Fidelity, with Kiavi matching 100% of contributions up to 3% of compensation or $6,000 (whichever is less). All employer contributions are immediately vested.
