As a Senior Games Producer of LiveOps, you will own production management of Platform Events at Roblox. Roblox Events are limited-time, online, platform-wide challenges that usually involve different objectives, creators and player rewards. We are bringing Roblox Events back, and we are looking for a production leader who’ll be instrumental in helping design, develop and complete successful Events, collaborating with internal teams and our creator community. The ideal candidate has a consistent record of producing premier Events.

This full-time position is based in San Mateo, CA (hybrid structure with 3 days onsite per week) and will report to Senior Lead, Developer Relations. 

You will:

  • Own production management from development to launch of Events
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (product, data science, engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, policy and more) and facilitate deliverables and deadlines 
  • Oversee production schedules, budgets, RFPs, contracts and vendor relationships  
  • Run stand-ups, oversee communication channels, communicate goals and updates   
  • Build and execute effective workflows between internal disciplines and Roblox creators       
  • Work with marketing and creative teams to devise and execute on GTM strategies 
  • Support analytics to set up goals, measure impact, and learn to iterate
  • Support Roblox economy by facilitating experimentation and various monetization efforts  
  • Help craft long-term strategy for Events 

You have:

  • 6+ years of LiveOps, production or similar experience with a consistent record of conceptualizing, producing, analyzing and refining Events
  • Experience leading cross-functional execution with various teams including product, data science, engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and policy
  • Domain experience with UGC, social and gaming; ability to understand and craft for player behavior, expectations and trends 
  • Understanding of game design, principles and mechanics
  • Experience working with creators and developers 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile and iterative LiveOps environment 
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and you thrive in ambiguity 
  • Superb organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$136,480$171,900 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
