Position Overview:


The Procurement Specialist will play a critical tactical role in supporting the day-to-day procurement needs of the business. The Procurement Specialist will ensure that supply markets are fulfilled efficiently while maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment of business needs.
  • Manage supplier communications, ensuring clear and effective interaction to maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Track and coordinate delivery schedules, addressing any issues related to supplier performance or order discrepancies.
  • Support the procurement team in tactical projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with business goals.
  • Provide data analytics and reporting on supplier performance, procurement metrics, and cost efficiencies.
  • Handle procurement system entries and ensure data accuracy in systems related to POs, invoices, and supplier information.
  • Support stakeholder management by coordinating with various departments and ensuring procurement requirements are met.
  • Continuously seek process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar fields is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • 2 to 5+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.
  • Working experience with procurement systems (purchase order systems, vendor management systems, etc.)
  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor management processes, including RFPs and contracts.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with experience using Excel or other data tools.
  • Experience building relationships and working with cross functional business teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and DocuSign.

  • Tactical mindset with the ability to react to business needs and ensure smooth execution of procurement tasks.
  • Strong relationship management with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in procurement processes.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent team building skills.
  • Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and communicate appropriately.
  • Demonstrated proficiency to learn new software/tools.
