Job Description:

As part of the EPMO team, the EPMO Process Engineer will partner with the EPMO Project Manager and various business areas to document and streamline existing processes and design new optimized processes. Process design and streamlining will focus on productivity, process improvement and systems implementation initiatives that enable growth, profitability, customer experience and employee efficiencies. The position will partner cross-functionally and participate appropriately to achieve project deadlines and desired outcomes. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Document processes using tools such as swim lane process maps, critical-to-quality trees, performance metrics, control plans and RACI roles/responsibilities, etc.
  • Partner with business teams to document existing and redesigned processes that support business activities.
  • Lead business and risk discussions to identify risk and incorporate risk mitigation into process improvements, develop effective controls, managed defects and implement sustainable, well-managed processes.
  • When appropriate, perform process simulations and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop standardized operating instructions.
  • Provide Project Managers with process documents and standard operating procedures.
  • Deliver process presentations to teams to gain consensus.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
  • Communicate scope changes appropriately.
  • Help to create a positive environment for the project team including open, honest communication and a clear path to escalate risks and issues.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field
  • Process excellence certifications (Lean, Business Process Management, Blackbelt or Master Blackbelt)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus

Experience

  • 3+ years process documentation and engineering
  • Proven experience in process documentation and design on large cross-functional projects that include both technology and business processes
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures
  • High-level knowledge of process engineering software systems
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skills
  • Working expertise in Lean and Change Management principles, methods, and tools
  • Strong planning, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Initiative and problem-solving capabilities
  • Change agility and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task and meet deadlines

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position.  Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

$67,300.00 - $115,200.00
