This role is in office Monday to Friday. 

The Role

Global Private Wealth Marketing is responsible for driving awareness of the Blue Owl brand and product offerings with financial advisors and high-net worth clients, generating leads for sales to deepen market share and grow adoption of Blue Owl strategies, and supporting fundraising initiatives globally. We are hiring a Global Head of Product Marketing & Management in Private Wealth, a new role that will lead and evolve Blue Owl’s product marketing and management functions to support the firm’s continued global expansion and growth across Credit, Real Assets, and GP strategic capital strategies. This senior leader will report directly to the Global Head of Private Wealth Marketing and will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing product positioning, messaging, content development, and go-to-market strategies while also building out a robust product management capability to align with the firm’s scale and market expansion. This role operates in a highly cross-functional team and will serve as the product marketing leader for Private Wealth and will focus on leading a team of product marketers to bring process, strategic vision and execution at scale to the function. 

Responsibilities

Global Strategy and leadership for Product Marketing  

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global product marketing strategy for private wealth, ensuring alignment with Blue Owl’s growth objectives. 

  • Oversee the team responsible for creation of compelling messaging and content to articulate Blue Owl’s value proposition across credit, real assets, and strategic capital strategies. 

  • Lead the development of product marketing plans to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption among private wealth investors and financial intermediaries. 

  • Partner across marketing, sales, strategic accounts, portfolio strategy solutions teams within wealth to ensure consistency in product positioning and storytelling. 

  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine marketing approaches, measure effectiveness, and optimize content and campaign strategies. 

Product Management & Development 

  • Build and scale a global product management function to support the firm’s expansion into new markets and investment strategies – and scale the capabilities across existing franchise (new) 

  • Partner with internal stakeholders on current and new product launches to align offering with client needs and regulatory requirements. 

  • Collaborate with wealth product strategy, investment teams, legal, compliance and operations to support new product launches, ongoing product enhancements, and day to day management of fund updates and performance 

  • Establish best practices for competitive analysis, market intelligence, and investor feedback integration into product materials and campaigns. 

New Product Launches & Go-To-Market Strategy 

  • Partner with distribution leadership and key marketing leadership to drive new product initiatives from ideation through launch, along with in market activation and campaigns 

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new offerings, ensuring seamless execution across all private wealth marketing channels. 

  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and operational teams to navigate regulatory considerations and optimize product materials and pre-marketing initiatives to drive education, awareness and insights on the offering. 

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team across product marketing and management functions. 

  • Drive collaboration across key internal stakeholders, including investment teams, distribution, legal, operations, and more 

  • Establish a holistic product marketing way of working, process and strategy to drive greater team connectivity, consistency and increase overall market activation to support critical products to drive a consistent and differentiated experience for clients and prospects 

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a related function within asset management, private equity, or alternative investments. 

  • Proven track record of leading, building and a managing a team 

Skills:

  • Strong track record of successfully bringing new investment products to market and scaling global product management capabilities.   

  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic product marketing plans across multiple asset classes, with expertise in credit, real assets, and/or strategic capital.   

  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.    

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage market data, investor insights, and competitive intelligence to inform decision-making.  

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a talent for translating complex investment concepts into compelling narratives.  

  • Deep understanding of the alternative investment ecosystem, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities in asset classes and fund structures 

  • Deep understanding of private wealth distribution channels, including RIAs, wirehouses, family offices, and private banks.   

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a collaborative mindset. 

  • Self-starter, comfortable in fast-paced environment and driving strategy and process with whitespace 

  • Extremely effective oral and written communicator    

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA preferred

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be 200,000 to 250,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
