As a Principal UX Researcher in Global Banking, you will start by using Design Thinking methodology to develop empathy for the product's users. Join our exciting team and create visible and impactful change! You will work closely with local and global teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end designs in a fast-paced environment.
Job responsibilities

  • Demonstrate thought leadership and drive strategic UX research projects by identifying opportunities and gaps across different product areas
  • Plan UX research tasks to align with our product timelines
  • Allocate resources for UX research projects from multiple channels within the firm
  • Advocate for user needs while understanding their connections to our business goals and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of researchers, product and content designers, product managers, marketing, customer success, subject matter experts, engineers, and legal
  • Partner closely with design and product stakeholders to understand and deliver against their research needs and priorities
  • Synthesize research findings and create relevant, revealing, and inspiring research artifacts to share the insights with stakeholders
  • Organize and document research processes, operations, and outputs to share with other teams
  • Share knowledge, educate, and influence stakeholders about UX research processes and best practices to optimize our operations and elevate our organization
  • Guide, mentor, and share knowledge with other UX researchers on the team


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields
  • 5+ years of work experience in UX research field
  • Samples of work demonstrating relevant experience (an online research portfolio or work sample links in résumé), especially on strategic UX research projects
  • Experience in planning and conducting different types of research including foundational, generative, and evaluative research
  • Deep understanding of the Design Thinking methodology, both as a practitioner and educator
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and document research findings through artifacts, documentations, and presentations
  • Familiarity with UX research tools (UserTesting, Dscout, etc.)


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in planning and facilitating Design Thinking workshops
  • Familiarity with financial terminologies and products
  • Familiarity with UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe suites
