Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to join our Analytics Practice. This role will be instrumental in driving pre-sales engagements by demonstrating deep technical expertise in end-to-end analytics solutions, including front-end analytics and dashboarding. The ideal candidate will have experience working with leading BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI and a strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, and visualization best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales and Account Executives to engage with prospects and customers, understanding their analytics needs and business challenges.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations, showcasing analytics solutions that align with customer requirements.
  • Design and propose end-to-end analytics architectures, integrating BI tools with various data sources.
  • Provide hands-on support in proof-of-concept (POC) development, solution prototyping, and competitive differentiation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on best practices for data visualization, dashboarding, and self-service analytics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to ensure smooth customer onboarding and adoption.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, analytics technologies, and competitive solutions.
  • Travel up to 70% within the US mainland to meet with clients, conduct workshops, and support sales engagements.


    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or Analytics Consulting role.
    • Strong expertise in Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI, with hands-on experience designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports.
    • Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts including Kimball and Inmon Methodology, and Medaillion Architecture.
    • Ability to translate complex business problems into analytics-driven solutions.
    • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills to effectively demonstrate solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel up to 70% within the US mainland.
