Job Title: Power BI Developer/Analyst
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating interactive dashboards and reports, data analysis, and transforming business requirements into insightful, data-driven solutions using Power BI. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and delivering actionable insights through data visualization.
Salary: $80K - $95K
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and implement business intelligence solutions using Power BI to meet business needs.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for business users.
- Utilize Power Query, DAX, and other Power BI tools to manipulate and transform data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports.
- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to optimize reporting solutions.
- Integrate data from various sources like SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and others to create consolidated reporting solutions.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, outliers, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Continuously optimize and improve BI reports and dashboards for better performance.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Experience with data modeling and transforming raw data into actionable insights.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency in data visualization best practices and principles.
- Ability to work with large datasets and integrate data from different sources (SQL, Excel, etc.)
- Good understanding of business intelligence concepts and data warehousing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Power BI administration and security is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other BI tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
