The role:
SoFi’s is looking for a Post Production Coordinator to join our in-house production studio. Your main focus will be assisting our production team with producing assets developed by our production studio and in-house creative agency, as well as developing your skills to project manage/produce your own projects from request through delivery. You must be able to work in person in our San Francisco office on a regular basis.
Your role includes assisting staff producers, project managers and our post-production team across all types of productions with project coordination, post production support, and production studio management support.
Post Production Coordination will include assisting and managing project schedules, resourcing, legal, accounting and vendor digital paperwork processing and archiving, cost tracking, and general production coordination and communication. This role will also entail some production technical support, such as hard drive, equipment, and software management and organization.
Project management will include development of the skillset required for reviewing and evaluating project briefs, creating project workflows and timelines, project tracking within our management software (Workfront), submitting assets for compliance reviews, and working with our cross functional partners and internal resources in order to produce and deliver campaigns of all sizes.
What you’ll do:
This role requires a preliminary understanding of video and audio production and post production, as well as basic project management. Types of production projects may include:
- Animated video
- Social media content
- Webinars
- Event materials
- Employee engagement materials
- Still photography
- GFX/VFX
- Voice over recording
- Editing and finishing
- Audio mixing and layback
- Digital content
- Awards show content
- Sizzle Reels
As a member of our production studio, this role will include:
- Contributing to the coordination of our production studio’s scheduling and resourcing
- Accurately tracking and documenting project cost
- Producing different types of projects from start to finish, utilizing SoFi’s project management software
- Leading fast-turn, high profile video asset updates, ensuring accurate and timely asset delivery
- Video/TV trafficking
- Supporting in-house productions by handling all project related digital paperwork: contracts, PO’s, invoices, payroll, etc.
- Demonstrating a clear understanding of resources needed to post-produce a project
- Working collaboratively with our cross functional partners to produce materials with our talented production team
- Demonstrating clear working knowledge about our products and our Brand
- Working knowledge of first line of defense of compliance regulations
This role reports to our Senior Producer. As part of our internal creative studio and brand strategy teams, you’ll be involved in influential and exciting creative campaigns, work with an incredibly supportive team, and produce materials that help our members get their money right.
What you’ll need:
Confidence keeping digital paperwork up to date Confidence with learning and navigating corporate software platforms for vendor management and IT supportClear, concise communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Workfront (and other project management and DAM tools).
- 2+ years of experience in post-production
- Experience handling multiple vendor relationships
- Familiarity with project planning and effective resource management
- Ability to work comfortably in a very fast-paced, nimble environment
- Ability to be flexible with change, and work with people possessing widely diverse working and communication styles
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent time, prioritization, and project management skills
- Understanding of creative studio processes
- Skilled in asset management
Nice to have:
- Experience in Fintech or Financial industry is a plus
- Working knowledge of Adobe Cloud Service software a plus

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
