The Opportunity

We are adding to our People team and looking for a People focused generalist who can serve as the cornerstone of our HR function. You will play a hands-on role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with our company culture and business objectives. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our company’s people operations from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues, providing guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and career development

  • Enhance onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new employees including benefit enrollment and orientations

  • Ensure the company’s HR practices comply with legal requirements and mitigate potential risks

  • Administer our HR systems to streamline HR processes and improve data accuracy including employee documentation and other compliance-related materials

  • Stay abreast of compensation and benefits trends to ensure we are aligned with industry best practices

  • Develop, implement and manage HR policies and procedures that support company’s goals

  • Develop and oversee the performance review process, ensuring it is fair, transparent and aligned with company objectives

  • Build and deliver employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive community and promote collaboration

It’s Important To Us That You Have

  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR or People Operations role, ideally in a tech or startup environment

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements

  • Experience with onboarding, employee relations, and performance management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization

  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently while thriving in ambiguity

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • Proficiency with HRIS and other HR tools

It Would Be Great if You Had 

  •  Hands on administration experience with Bamboo, SequoiaOne, Pave or Lattice
