monday.com is looking for an NYC-based Payroll Coordinator to join our expanding global Finance department!

As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and processing of payroll for our multi-state US payroll, Brazil and Canada. In this role you will work closely with our Payroll Manager and report to the US Controller, and assist with coordination of semi-monthly regular payroll, Bonuses, and Equity. We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure in a fast paced environment and has high attention to detail.

Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office.



About The Role

  • Assist with collecting and setting up data to prepare and process semi-monthly payroll including expense reimbursements, imputed income, bonuses, deductions and prepare semi-monthly payroll JE.
  • Record expense reimbursement into ERP.
  • Own employee onboarding into payroll system as well as terminations and ensuring all proper documentation is in place.
  • Assist with summarizing employee benefit bills by cost centers.
  • Liaise with employees to resolve any open questions or concerns related to payroll.
  • Assist with preparation of SOX control files.
  • Assist with external audits.



Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years related work experience
  • Prior experience with ADP and Global Payroll
  • Conversational knowledge of Portuguese a plus
  • Prior experience with NetSuite a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented, ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $65,000 - $85,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
