We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Payment Partnership Manager to support our mission

This role is based in San Francisco OR Remote but must be in PST time zone.

About the Role

As a Payments Partnership Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing and expanding our global payment capabilities while ensuring a seamless experience for creators and members. You’ll manage strategic payment partnerships, drive efficiencies in pay-ins and payouts, and identify opportunities to enhance our payment infrastructure.

This role requires strong analytical skills, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a reliable and frictionless payment experience. Your work will directly impact how creators get paid and how members support the content they love.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Payment Operations: Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase TPV, reduce cost, enhance efficiency and optimize both pay-in and payout processes.

  • Monitor Performance & Industry Trends: Stay ahead of industry developments, analyze payment performance metrics, and propose new initiatives or payment methods to improve customer experience.

  • Manage Partner Relationships: Oversee day-to-day interactions, escalations, contract negotiations, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and performance scorecards with key payment partners.

  • Drive Strategic Decision-Making: Work closely with technical leadership to influence key decisions, set priorities, and ensure the successful execution of payment-related projects.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across engineering, product, finance, data science, legal, compliance, and support to assess, onboard, and optimize best-in-class payment solutions.

  • Improve Payment Resilience: Work with partners to implement best practices, identify and mitigate points of failure, resolve incidents, and document key processes to ensure reliability and scalability.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in payments, fintech or consulting roles with a focus on strategy and partnerships.

  • Deep understanding of payment processing, payment networks, and global payment trends.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity and complex issues with minimal guidance.

  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of ownership.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about payments, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys working at the intersection of technology and finance to drive meaningful business impact and a world class experience to our creators and members.
