Overview of Position:

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between technology and partnership success? We’re looking for a Partner Solution Architect (Partner SA) to lead CircleCI’s strategic partnerships, driving technical excellence and collaboration across our partner ecosystem. This role, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, will be a hybrid position within the Business Development team, reporting directly to the Head of Business Development. Overview of Team:

The Business Development team at CircleCI is dedicated to fostering long-term relationships with our strategic partners across the globe. We work collaboratively with technology companies, systems integrators, and cloud service providers to create impactful solutions that drive customer success. Our team employs a data-driven approach to establish go-to-market strategies, facilitate product integrations, and ensure mutual growth through innovative partnerships.

What You'll Do:

As a Partner Solution Architect, you will be the technical authority for our strategic partnerships, particularly focusing on major cloud platforms like AWS. You will engage with various internal teams and partners to design and implement robust solutions that address customer needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Channel Sales Support: Collaborate with CircleCI Channel Sales Leads to engage with AWS account teams and their customers, identifying customer pain points related to DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Technical Consultation: Conduct strategy and execution sessions to define comprehensive roadmaps aligned with customer business goals. Advocate for the CircleCI platform, providing technical proofs and engaging in proof-of-concept implementations.
  • Training and Enablement: Train and empower AWS Technical Field Community (TFC) members, creating enablement content and co-presentation opportunities to enhance our partner capabilities.
  • Integration Optimization: Develop and manage integrations with third-party ISVs, streamlining processes for quicker implementations while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with various internal teams (Product Management, Customer Success, R&D) to coordinate on product-related initiatives and enhance our partnership strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable navigating both technical and business discussions. Key qualifications include:

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in building and deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines. A solid understanding of modern software delivery methodologies, including agile and DevOps practices.
  • Interpersonal Proficiency: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences. You possess a knack for fostering relationships and aligning multi-disciplinary teams towards common goals.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive mindset to explore innovative go-to-market strategies and uncover new growth opportunities, all while navigating ambiguity and potential risks.
  • AWS Knowledge: Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, ideally holding an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or similar qualifications.

Skills Needed:

  • Proficient in CI/CD and DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with AWS and its services
  • Understanding of integrations using APIs, Webhooks, or similar technologies

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Channel Sales Engagement: Facilitate collaboration between CircleCI sales teams and AWS to address DevOps challenges faced by customers, driving customer success and case studies.
  • Technical Field Community Collaboration: Act as a key contact for AWS TFCs, contributing to training, content creation, and engagement in technical events.
  • Customer Integration: Oversee the integration of third-party solutions to optimize customer experience and reduce implementation timelines.
  • Partnership Development: Engage with systems integrators to enhance adoption of CircleCI solutions within their practice areas and ensure alignment with their internal DevOps teams.

United States Base Pay Range

$155,000$185,000 USD
