Strategic Partnerships at Brex

Following the announcement of Brex Embedded, the strategic partnerships team is responsible for a sizable revenue contribution to Brex in 2025 & beyond. Partners such as Navan, Coupa, Sabre, and others see embedding Brex’ core financial services capabilities as a customer differentiator within their first party solutions. In order to scale this line of business, Brex is investing in more resources to support growth, streamline our operations, and refine our ongoing strategy.

What you’ll do

Brex is looking for an individual to join the Revenue Operations Team, specifically with the focus on scaling our strategic partner selling motions. You will be responsible for helping the partner managers and revenue teams drive consistent growth through regular reporting, analytical insights, process improvements, systems updates, strategic initiatives, cross-functional alignment, incentive design, and coverage model design. You should have an analytical mindset with a curiosity to get to the right solution to every problem. The ability to create net-new lead flow processes & pipeline reporting is critical as you will work closely with business partners, enablement, finance, systems, data, and GTM reps to drive measurable revenue impact.

Where you’ll work
This role will be based in our San Francisco office. You must be willing to work in office at least 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday. Employees will be able to work remotely for up to 4 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage partner processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness (including optimizing our partner portal)
  • Develop, implement, and streamline lead-flow procedures. From lead forms → SFDC opportunity creation → dashboards, you will design end-to-end processes that produce the insights needed for business partners
  • Proactively identify opportunities to provide additional reporting or analytical clarity to better understand business performance
  • Planning and quota setting - You will partner with Revenue Operations to co-design incentive structures, specifically for sales overlay models, on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Own forecasting and reporting for internal pipeline meetings to track progress towards goals and highlight key areas for improvement
  • Partner with Enablement to lead internal and external trainings, educating supporting teams on the launch of new partners
  • Support data requests for deal deep dives or compensation tracking

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in partner operations, revenue operations, sales operations, business operations, or similar; preferably at a VC-Backed Fintech or SaaS company
  • Strong problem solving skills and collaborative approach to solutioning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, especially with complex process scripting
  • High familiarity with CRM data models (Salesforce)
  • Hands on dashboard creation experience, specifically in tools like Looker, Hex, etc
  • Analytical mindset and desire for high data precision and accuracy
  • Self-motivated and able to run with projects autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills
  • Moderate SQL skills with experience in data visualization tools (Looker or Hex experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail including in documentation

Bonus Points

  • Experience managing and optimizing complex partner portals
  • Experience in embedded finance, fintech ecosystem partnerships, or experience scaling BD/Sales processes at high growth companies
  • Experience with sales compensation design and tracking
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and finance systems
  • Track record of successfully managing and growing partner ecosystems

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $114,808 to $143,510 USD. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
