The Paid Media Manager (SEM) at Nuvolum is an energetic individual who will collaborate with the Accounts team, SEO team, and our clientele. You are a natural communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. As a Paid Media Manager (SEM) at Nuvolum, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to build and maintain a positive public image for our clients. You will be responsible for innovative and groundbreaking ideas and will heavily utilize AI-driven tools and technologies to enhance and streamline our paid media efforts. Your strategic thinking, creativity, and technological acumen will be essential in achieving our goals.

You will play a critical role in growing Nuvolum’s extensive portfolio of healthcare and technology clients through strategic social media platforms and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) that drives local and national attention. 

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Paid Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute an innovative PPC and paid social media strategy that aligns with Nuvolum's brand and business objectives. Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Innovative Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute creative and innovative PPC, display, and social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media into broader marketing initiatives.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze ad performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results
  • Trendspotting: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platforms. Recommend and implement emerging trends that align with Nuvolum's goals.
  • Budget Management: Manage the paid media budget efficiently, ensuring the best ROI on paid campaigns and promotions.
  • Own all the data and reporting. Identify key trends and KPIs to figure out what's working so that we can scale it and what isn't working so that we can scrap or refine it
  • Manage our ad accounts and budgets, including Google, Bing, Facebook, Youtube and more. Maintain and monitor spend, conversions, and other key metrics. Brainstorm and implement new campaigns to drive engagement and acquire customers profitably
  • Write and/or delineate clear, effective ads for all of our properties across all ad platforms. Test out different types of messaging. Tailor messaging to different types of customer targeting (parent of teens, professors, doctors, language learnesr, etc.)
  • Collaborate with our UI, UX, and SEO teams to design engaging creative and converting landing pages
  • Question and continuously test everything. From on-site testing to A/B landing page optimization to user flows and funnels

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Deep experience in developing paid social campaigns and PPC using Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and other channels 
  • Proven B2B & B2C experience in building social strategies, deploying successful campaigns, and cultivating audiences
  • Strong skills in marketing communications and digital marketing
  • Demonstrated efficiency in running multiple initiatives, vendors, and other key players as part of the social media practice
  • Analytic skills with the ability to analyze and provide deep insights
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent oral/written presentation skills

Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2 - 4 years of paid marketing experience in the B2B & B2C, healthcare, technology, and space. Candidates without a degree with significant experience will also be considered for the role.
  • Google Ads certification is a big plus
  • Experience in the Health Tech space or in oral surgery, plastic surgery, or similar is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of social media tools, community platforms, and measurement, advocacy, and training/education platforms (experience working with Salesforce Social Studio, Sprout, Bit.ly, Basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge, Canva, Various AI tools, and other technologies)
  • Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment (Agency experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet high standards for quality and accuracy
  • Focused attention to detail and ability to multitask, handling multiple complex, multi-phase projects at different stages

Fine Print

This is an in-person position located in Jackson Square, San Francisco with the potential to work occasionally remotely from the larger San Francisco Bay Area. We exclusively consider in-person candidates for our positions and do not entertain applications from remote workers. At this time, we can only consider applicants with authorization to work in the United States on a permanent, full-time basis. We cannot provide visa sponsorship at this time.
