Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage inventory and support operations across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. This role ensures the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing inventory, facilitates smooth operational workflows, and supports cross-functional teams in achieving business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Incoming Inventory & Invoice Processing: Receive inventory from manufacturers and ensure it is accurately received and processed into our systems. Process invoices. 
  • Store Inventory Management: Pull inventory reports, allocate, transfer, and ship product to Cast stores as needed. Facilitate store-to-store transfers of product and manage bi-weekly product rebalances to ensure stock levels are optimized.
  • Audits & Cycle Counts: Oversee daily inventory audits and lead investigations into discrepancies and perform necessary inventory adjustments.
  • Repairs & RTV Support: Assist the Head of Repairs with shipments to manufacturers for repairs and returns to vendor (RTVs).
  • Shipment management: Track all incoming inventory shipments. Work with FedEx to resolve any clearance issues.
  • Employee Orders: Fulfill and document employee orders.
  • Barcode Management: Create and document barcodes as needed. Generate and print barcodes as needed, and apply to product.
  • Ecommerce Customer Orders: Support shipping orders to ecommerce customers allocated from HQ’s inventory.
  • Customer Returns: Process customer returns sent to HQ, ensuring accurate handling and documentation. Direct stores for international orders.
  • Wholesale Support: Manage wholesale repair shipments, receive wholesale RTVs, and assist with order fulfillment for wholesale customers (Nordstroms). Ensure wholesale product catalog (on InterTrade) is updated.
  • Ecommerce & Shopify Support: Assist with various Shopify tasks, including creating product detail pages (PDPs), setting up product bundles, creating and updating collections, modifying shipping options, and updating pricing as needed. 
  • Event & Promotional Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support trunk shows, special events, and promotional activities, ensuring inventory is properly managed for these occasions.
  • Operational Flexibility: Track and ship packaging supplies to stores, address operational needs as they arise, and ensure the efficient movement of product across channels.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Experience in inventory management, logistics, or a similar operational role.
  • Exceptionally strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and communicate. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, EDI systems (e.g., Spring Systems), and Shopify is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Great work ethic and a keen eye for detail will go a long way! 


 

Additional Information 

  • This is a full-time position which will include partial coverage of the Director of Business Operations’ role during her maternity leave starting in May 2025.
  • Compensation $60,000 to $80,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications. 
  • Role is headquartered in San Francisco. Candidates must be able to work from the office Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day.
  • Reports to the Director of Business Operations. During her maternity leave, will report to the CFO.
