As a New Experience Head of Program Delivery & Governance within the Digital Commercial Bank, you will lead project management for a program aimed at developing a new digital platform, primarily for the Innovation Economy business. You will manage a team of Product Delivery associates and work closely with Work Stream Leads to oversee and prioritize all aspects of the functionality and UX/UI of the New Experience application. Collaborating with Technology, Design, Payments, and third-party vendors, you will guide the development process from start to finish. Furthermore, you will provide leadership to the Product Delivery associates, Workstream Leads, and teams, and coordinate with senior Product Management, Technology, Design client service, operations, and global & regional business partners to deliver products that enhance global capabilities.
Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption and implementation of project and program management methodology to support Agile development and delivery
  • Lead the team of Product Delivery Associates that support the Workstream Leads and their teams
  • Managing the Reporting of program status to various organizational levels
  • Managing the process of identifying and reporting delivery risks, inclusion of actions necessary to mitigate the risk(s)
  • Oversee the delivery process for major project deliverables including Project Plan, Business and Functional Requirements, Analysis & Design (participation and sign-off), Internal and External readiness & post go-live support to clients
  • Partnering with key stakeholders (product, technology, service & implementations, etc.) to provide transparency of program delivery status and manage escalations
  • Develop and grow high performance talent
  • Preparing and presenting project updates for executive leadership (measuring success, kpi's, risks and mitigation plans and lessons learned/opportunities)
  • Perform other responsibilities including: supporting and managing the change control process, supporting the program's financial management process.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • BA/BS in Management, Finance, Operations Management, IT/ Computer Science, MIS, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years professional experience in a bank or other financial institution, consulting firm, and/ or software company
  • 5+ years project management experience leading complex projects or programs, valued at $10M or greater
  • 3+ years experience in transaction banking, experience outside of US markets
  • Possesses knowledge of electronic banking products and systems, including high and low volume payment systems (SWIFT, Money Transfer, ACH)
  • Understanding of systems development methodologies. Ability to direct and manage business partners, technology resources, subject matter experts, user interface design, QA, UAT, and all other groups involved in the Agile and end-to-end process needed to define, design and deploy product capabilities
  • Demonstrates strong relationship management skills. Proven ability to quickly build trust and rapport with others in order to structure problems, build consensus, negotiate agreement with strong influencing skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects in a way that reduces risk, ensures predictable results, meets or exceeds its timeline
  • Strong communication skills with both verbal and written a must
  • Possesses a strategic mindset, with a can-do attitude and drive to get things done. Exhibits high degree of creativity, self-motivation, and commitment to task
  • Power user of office automation and project management tools, including but not limited to JIRA

  • MBA or related graduate degree a plus
