Key Responsibilities:

Manage Circuit MACD Orders: Oversee the full life cycle of circuit MACD orders, including initiation, execution, and completion.

Issue Documentation: Prepare and issue Letters of Authorization (LOA) and Connecting Facility Assignments (CFA). Handle and load cross-connect orders, and manage Circuit Layout Reports (CLR) / Design Layout Reports (DLR) to ensure all circuit documentation is accurate.

Vendor Coordination: Directly execute or manage local vendor technicians for circuit provisioning, cross-connect delivery, and troubleshooting.

Physical Layer Installation: Facilitate the physical installation of network cabling according to cabling matrices.

Troubleshooting and Fault Analysis: Perform physical circuit troubleshooting and fault analysis to ensure network reliability.
-
Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support for production environments and collaborate with vendors, system owners, and operations teams to resolve issues.
-
Request Coordination: Coordinate and track requests/orders, and generate weekly reports on progress and status.
-
Documentation: Post detailed documentation on each implementation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Maintenance and Change Management: Oversee the maintenance and change management processes for circuit provisioning lifecycle ensuring all updates, modifications, and repairs are carried out smoothly and in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Role Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience in datacenter or corporate/enterprise IT infrastructure, with a strong understanding of IT best practices (ITIL) and equipment lifecycle processes

Proven experience executing detailed Method of Procedures (MOPs) and technical instructions, with a focus on following documentation

Knowledge of relevant technologies including fiber optics, DWDM/CWDM devices, network interface types, optics, and protocols

Strong troubleshooting skills across technical, logistical, and process domains
-
Experience in planning and coordinating with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, and vendors, especially with ISPs and Colo Providers
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and provide effective remote technical guidance and troubleshooting
-
Basic command-line proficiency in Linux/Unix and switch OS CLI
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in coordinating or leading junior field operation technicians/engineers, contractors, and/or vendors within a Data Center environment
-
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple levels and functions
-
Anticipate and mitigate potential problems in planning to minimize project-impacting factors
-
Strong documentation skills for technical processes and procedures, with an ability to accurately record detailed data
-
Relevant Certifications: Server+, Network+, A+, CDCTP, CDCPM, etc
Salary Range
$39,051.08 - $61,659.60 USD (Salary)
