What you’d do
-
Develop and maintain Excel VSTO add-ins using C#/.NET (up to version .NET Framework 4.8.1)

Use WPF to create dynamic and user friendly interfaces

Debug production issues that don’t appear in the dev environment

Work with network engineers and IT teams to resolve firewall, TLS, and deployment issues

Create MSI installers / clickonce deployments, as well as coordinate third party services for enterprise rollouts
-
Optimize add-in performance and prevent Excel crashes

Implement error logging & remote debugging solutions
Requirements
-
5+ years of C#/.NET development (preferably in VSTO, Office Add-ins, or enterprise software), or similar experience in a different OOPL
-
Experience with network debugging for end users (firewalls, proxies, TLS/SSL, API requests)

Proficient using git version control
Nice to have
-
Familiarity with MSIX/MSI/ClickOnce deployment & Excel registry setting

Expertise in debugging VSTO add-ins and COM object handling, both in a dev environment and in a client’s production environment

Experience commercializing .exes and the related software distribution, licensing and code obfuscation
