Digital Innovation Division (DID) is accountable for generating and executing integrated strategies, providing governance, and managing internal investments associated with four technical pillars that form the foundation of Aerospace's digital transformation.
We are looking for a Mission IT Integration Lead (Project Leader - Engineering Integration / Technical Program Management) to facilitate the program/project management of the Mission IT portfolio.
Working with the Office of the CIO, program offices, and across DID, the candidate will be responsible for recording the requirements for new IT systems or modifications to existing IT systems. They will also be a customer advocate within the Mission IT team and oversee the fulfillment of customer requirements from beginning to end in consultation with subdivision technical experts. This is a high-impact position requiring broad general technical expertise and excellent leadership and program/project management abilities.
Work Model :
This position will be a hybrid work model and offer partially remote with some onsite work required in El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA as the business needs allow.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Working with engineers, program office personnel, and enterprise services personnel to define and deliver high-quality products
  • Help IT solution providers understand what needs to be built
  • Help the Mission IT Principal Director manage the Mission IT work portfolio
  • Set up outreach to internal customers to explain work products and Mission IT offerings
  • Alongside senior staff, optimize Mission IT offerings and services

What You Need to be Successful - Project Leader - Engineering Integration / Technical Program Management
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 6 years of experience in technical project management outside the software development realm
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology
  • Experience with waterfall project management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to think in a tactical manner and make decisions in high-pressure environments
  • Willing to travel to other Aerospace sites 1-3 times a year
  • This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • Proven experience in translating strategic intent into tactical work
  • Agile Alliance certification or equivalent in product owner or scrum professional
  • PMI-PMP certification
  • Experience with Agile in the government contracting/government procurement context

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
