The Role
Driving People Excellence in CDK's Customer Organization
In an industry rapidly evolving from traditional sales to digital transformation, CDK Global needs a people advocate who can enable our Customer Organization from within. While our technology reimagines the dealership experience, we need someone who understands that our Customer Organization's capabilities are built on empowered employees—creating an environment where internal talent development directly enhances our organizational effectiveness.
 

As the Manager, HR Business Partner, you'll be the crucial link between our Customer Organization and our people-first culture while driving business results. This influential role positions you at the intersection of talent strategy and operational excellence, where you'll partner with Customer Organization leadership to transform HR initiatives into competitive advantages. You'll champion effective employee relations, providing guidance on policy interpretation and complex workplace matters to create a positive work environment. By implementing strategic talent management approaches and fostering an engaged workforce, you'll help teams thrive in our high-performance environment. With significant autonomy to support this critical business unit, you'll leverage your strategic mindset to navigate complex challenges and ensure our people strategies directly contribute to the Customer Organization's objectives and business outcomes. Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Deliver HR support to business units, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Provide strategic HR advice to senior management, focusing on talent management, succession planning, and employee development
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Monitor HR KPIs and provide data-driven insights to business leaders to optimize HR operations
  • Participate in recruitment efforts for critical roles and ensure a diverse and inclusive hiring process
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, escalating when necessary, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal requirements
  • Develop and implement organizational design decisions
  • Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures 
  • Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements 
  • Meet or exceed all performance expectations 
  • Role model company values and leadership expectations 
  • Supports HR functions through policy guidance, employee relations assistance, and collaboration with management and corporate HR to foster a positive workplace environment while exercising professional judgment in problem-solving
  • Travel as needed, to support business objectives, with travel expectations of up to 20% of work time

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in HR, including significant experience in an HRBP or HR management role
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be open to travel, up to 20%

Strongly Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience providing comprehensive HR support through policy interpretation, employee relations guidance, and effective partnerships with management to create and maintain positive workplace environments

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
