As the Marketing Manager for our Global Prepaid Business, you will be responsible for the end-to-end marketing strategy for Roblox gift cards. Your role will encompass the development and execution of go-to-market plans, retail promotions, channel strategies, and the launch of new sales channels in conjunction with the Business Development team. Role reports to Director, Corporate Marketing.

Role is full-time based in our San Mateo, CA location from Tuesday - Thursday (remote Monday and Friday) 

You Will 

  • Lead the marketing and communications strategy for gift card sales channels, covering direct-to-consumer (B2C) and corporate business (B2B) for both first-party and third-party distribution.
  • Develop and implement a new country launch marketing strategy to grow the awareness and sales of Roblox gift cards.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and global retail partners to increase gift card sales during key promotional periods.
  • Build consumer-focused marketing materials and pre-purchase materials to guarantee a flawless post-purchase and redemption process.
  • Partner with internal/external social media and influencer teams to amplify Roblox Gift Card awareness during key gifting periods.
  • Promote Roblox gift cards in media channels in partnership with the Communications team.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on retail promotions and digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of go-to-market strategies and new country launches.
  • Strong understanding of global retail landscapes and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with social media, influencer marketing, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to present marketing plans clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external partners

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$146,000$183,910 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
