ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Summary:

As a Marketing Designer at Sortly, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our brand across all marketing channels. You’ll be responsible for creating a wide range of compelling marketing materials, from digital ads and social media graphics to email templates and landing pages. Collaborating closely with the marketing and product teams, you will develop and execute creative concepts that align with our campaign goals and resonate with our target audience. Your designs will not only capture attention but also drive user engagement and contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts.

In this role, you will also be a key player in maintaining and evolving Sortly’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while exploring new and innovative ways to express our brand. You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of marketing campaigns, from initial concept through to final execution, and will have the opportunity to contribute to broader strategic initiatives that impact the company’s growth. Your ability to balance creativity with performance-driven design will be essential as you help to elevate Sortly’s presence in the market.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Marketing Designer at Sortly, your daily activities will be dynamic and varied, reflecting the fast-paced nature of our marketing and product teams. Here's what you can expect to do on a typical day:

  1. Website Design & Updates:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to refresh website content, ensuring visuals are up-to-date, aligned with Sortly’s brand guidelines, and optimized for user experience.
    • Work on landing page designs and make necessary adjustments to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
  2. Social Media Asset Creation:
    • Design and produce engaging graphics for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, tailored to current campaigns or promotional activities.
    • Stay updated with social media trends to ensure Sortly’s visuals are fresh and relevant.
  3. LinkedIn Ad Creatives:
    • Develop and iterate on LinkedIn ad creatives, focusing on visuals that capture attention and drive action among potential customers.
  4. Product Marketing Design:
    • Partner with the product team to design user flow interfaces for signups, conversion funnels, and upgrade processes, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
    • Create in-app graphics that align with Sortly's branding and contribute to a cohesive user journey.
  5. Print Design Projects:
    • Work on print materials such as brochures, flyers, and banners for events or marketing campaigns, ensuring they communicate Sortly’s value effectively and are visually appealing.
  6. Interactive Design:
    • Design interactive assets, including email templates, landing pages, and other digital touchpoints that support ongoing marketing campaigns.
    • Experiment with new design elements and layouts to enhance interactivity and engagement.
  7. General Marketing Support:
    • Assist in creating visual content for email marketing campaigns, presentation decks, and other promotional materials that require design expertise.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support various marketing initiatives, contributing design insights and creative solutions.
  8. Collaboration & Meetings:
    • Participate in daily stand-ups or team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, receive feedback, and plan your design workload.
    • Collaborate with the marketing, product, and content teams to ensure all design outputs are aligned with Sortly’s strategic goals.
  9. Project Management:
    • Manage your design projects from conception to completion, keeping track of deadlines, revisions, and final deliverables.
    • Communicate progress regularly with relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on all projects.

Your role as a Marketing Designer at Sortly will be instrumental in driving the visual identity of our brand across multiple channels, ensuring consistency, creativity, and impact in all marketing efforts.

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or tech environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity across various media.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma (or Sketch).
  • Knowledge of animation and video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in product design and a willingness to learn and grow in this area.
  • Experience working empathetically and collaboratively across different teams and disciplines.
