Looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to join the Inventory Solutions Marketing Analytics and Insights team supporting Manheim, NextGear Capital (NGC), and Electric Vehicle Battery Solutions (EVBS). This person should be able to build data pipelines, have the business acumen to understand the intent of marketing efforts, and create effective data visualizations to deliver insights that ultimately drive business value. This role will assist in the team's overall analytics strategy to develop core data sets, establish KPI governance, build advanced visualizations, and create advanced analytic solutions supporting the Inventory Solutions Marketing team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analytics & Insights:

  • Identify actionable insights and contribute to marketing recommendations through effective presentations and data visualization.
  • Analyze marketing efforts to derive insights and formulate strategies for improving adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Develop techniques to measure business performance, predict incremental ROI, and revenue attribution.
  • Conduct pre/post-campaign analysis, develop target lists, and create data visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Report on the performance of owned and paid media (email, digital, social, SEO/SEM, etc.) and generate user insights for all marketing activities across multiple campaigns.


Data Enablement:

  • Identify data improvement opportunities and work on solutions with a broader Cox Automotive data governance team.
  • Develop processes and solutions to speed up / expedite the development of datasets, report automation, production of dashboards, complex models, and analyses.
  • Extract and manipulate data from various cloud and on-premise based systems for reporting and analytical purposes, including Snowflake, AWS (S3), Google Analytics.
  • Develop report automation and self-service dashboard solutions using a combination of data transformation tools (Snowflake SQL/Python) and data visualization tools (Tableau).
  • Establish and maintain design and development best practices, including writing procedures to document data processes and ensure best data governance practices are maintained.


Operations:

  • Partners and builds relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and organizational leaders. Develops understanding of key client needs and gains acceptance. Leads the identification and scoping of analytical projects that align with business priorities.
  • Provide project management guidance and direction. Clearly define scope and minimize scope changes through buy in from team, stakeholders, and clients. Monitor and manage leadership and client expectations. Align resources across the team based on business needs and priorities. Develop and delivers clear communications through appropriate mediums to key stakeholders and clients.


Technology We Use: Snowflake (SQL/Python), AWS, Workbench, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau.
Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years experience in a related field
  • 6 years of business analytics experience and experience with complex database systems, business intelligence tools, and related systems required
  • Experienced in SQL writing and query optimization
  • Experience building data workflows, manipulation of large data sets, and/or developing data pipelines in analytical tools such as Snowflake, Informatica, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Power BI, SSIS, etc.
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization in analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and/or DOMO
  • Experience manipulating large datasets and the ability to extrapolate conclusions from the data
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization


Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelors in Math/Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Business/Finance preferred. Advanced degree (MS, MBA) a plus.
  • Marketing analytics experience including Predictive Modeling (Customer Lifetime Value, Churn Prediction), Propensity Modeling, Marketing Mix Modeling and Attribution (Multi-Touch Attribution and Marketing Spend Optimization)
  • Experience using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) within a business setting
  • Experience with Salesforce Products (Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud)
  • Experience with Tableau and data visualization best practices
  • Experience in Data Warehousing, ETL Development, and Data Management
  • Experience with email marketing best practices
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)


USD 99,000.00 - 165,000.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
