We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of User Services to build and lead an amazing workplace experience. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all IT services for users and sites, onboarding/offboarding processes, and the help desk.
- Develop and implement metrics-driven strategies to measure and improve the user experience.
- Design and implement efficient and scalable processes and procedures for all aspects of the user journey, from initial onboarding to ongoing support and offboarding.
- Partner closely with the Head of Infrastructure, InfoSec/GRC, and Enterprise Applications to ensure a cohesive and secure user experience.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of best-of-breed tools and technologies to optimize user services.
- Champion the use of AI and automation to streamline processes and enhance user support.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-quality services within allocated resources.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in user services and technology.
- Hire, mentor, and manage the user services team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations related to user access and data security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement user-centric IT processes and systems from scratch.
- 7+ years of experience in managing IT services and user support in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a startup or high-growth company.
- Strong understanding of IT best practices (ITIL) and industry standards.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) software, onboarding/offboarding tools, and other relevant technologies.
- Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI-driven or automation-driven ITSM platform or Help Desk is a plus.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- End-user device management (laptops, desktops, mobile devices).
- Experience managing collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace).
- Experience with Identity and access management (IAM) systems (OKTA, Onelogin, etc.).
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
We offer competitive compensation. The base salary range for this role determined based on location, experience, educational background, and market data.
Salary Range
$165,000—$195,000 USD
