We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and collaborative individual to serve as our Investor Relations Lead. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations program that accurately represents the company’s vision, performance, and growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships within the investment community, a deep understanding of the capital markets, and proven expertise in translating complex financial performance into compelling communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Relations Strategy

  • Develop and implement a cohesive investor relations (IR) strategy aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
  • Create and maintain a transparent, credible, and compelling investor relations framework that supports the company’s equity story and strengthens shareholder value.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the investment community—including institutional investors, retail shareholders, analysts, and potential investors.
  • Manage ongoing communication with existing shareholders to foster strong relationships and trust.
  • Proactively engage with sell-side analysts and maintain a robust analyst coverage strategy.

Financial Communications & Reporting

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Corporate Communications teams to prepare earnings releases, SEC filings, annual reports, investor presentations, and other disclosure materials.
  • Organize and lead quarterly earnings calls and webcasts, including Q&A sessions with analysts and investors.
  • Maintain accurate and timely disclosure practices in compliance with SEC regulations and NYSE listing requirements.

Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Track and analyze the company’s stock performance, investor sentiment, and peer benchmarking.
  • Provide market insights, trends, and competitive intelligence to senior leadership, including the CFO and CEO, to inform business strategy and decision-making.
  • Monitor trading activity to identify risks and opportunities related to the company’s shareholder base.

Event Management

  • Plan and execute investor events such as roadshows, investor days, and industry conferences.
  • Schedule and coordinate one-on-one meetings with analysts and investors to strengthen relationships and address inquiries.

Internal Collaboration & Advisory

  • Partner with Corporate Communications and Marketing to ensure alignment of messaging and branding in all public-facing materials.
  • Advise senior management on strategic considerations affecting the company’s positioning in the capital markets.
  • Work closely with Legal to ensure full compliance with SEC rules, regulations, and corporate governance best practices.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of IR professionals (as applicable).
  • Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field is required; MBA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or capital markets—preferably at a publicly traded company on the NYSE or NASDAQ.
  • Financial & Business Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, SEC regulations, disclosure requirements, and the equity research process.
  • Capital Markets Expertise: Established relationships in the investment community and a solid track record of cultivating shareholder loyalty.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including experience leading earnings calls and presenting to analysts, investors, and board members.
  • Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute investor relations strategies that align with broader corporate objectives.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven track record of building and managing effective teams; able to guide and motivate high-caliber professionals.
  • Collaboration: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to influence and work with diverse stakeholders, including finance, legal, communications, and executive management.

To comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.

For full time hires, the hiring base pay range for this position is between $143,000 and $168,000. Beyond base pay, Blend benefits and perks are described below.  

Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
