* Job Summary
* The CDW Managed Print Services (MPS) Engineer has responsibility for providing pre-sales and post-sales overlay support to our team of MPS Specialists for the purpose of assisting them in the successful sales of CDW's MPS solutions. As a result of these sales-facing activities, the MPS Engineer will have direct day-to-day contact with CDW's Sales Leadership and Account Managers, as well as CDW customers.
* What you will do:
* • CDW uses a printer fleet management software tool (MPS Tool) to assess, monitor and manage our prospective and current MPS customers. As a subject-matter expert on our MPS Tool, the MPS Engineer is responsible for: • Maintaining advanced levels of technical proficiency on the MPS Tool at its most current software version and release level. • Providing recommendations and guidance to management and the MPS Specialists on the potential uses for the MPS Tool in our sales and contract management activities. • Providing technical training and guidance for the MPS Specialists on the use of the MPS Tool for the following purposes. • Collecting information about the customer's printer fleet. • Monitoring devices under contract. • Automating the customer's order placement/fulfillment process. • Producing and disseminating printer fleet reports to the customer. • Provide pre-sales technical sales support to the MPS Specialists and Account Managers. • Participate in conference calls/webinars with the MPS Specialists, Account Mgrs, MPS Tool partner account representatives and customers. • Provide MPS Tool web demonstrations for potential MPS customers. • Perform installations of the MPS Tool for MPS customers. • Provide post-sales technical support of CDW printer fleet management software applications to customers. • Provide assistance with implementations and technical support of the CDW printer fleet management software applications tool. • Monitor the CDW printer fleet management software application data collected for accuracy. • Provide support to MPS Specialists in drafting proposals as they pursue MPS sales opportunities. • Perform remote and/or onsite basic and advanced printer assessment services and provide documentation detailing the information and data collected. In some instances, these services engagements may be billable.
* What we expect of you:
* • Associate's degree and at least 2 years of experience working with printers and content management solutions in a consulting capacity
* OR
* • 4 years of experience working with printers and content management solutions in a consulting capacity • 3-5 years of experience performing billable consulting services • Excellent organization and time management skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers • Self-starting and motivated • Passion for solution sales • Advanced levels of Word, Excel and Outlook skills • Advanced group presentation and training skills • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize • Ability to communicate effectively and concise using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience • Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions • Applicant must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to perform hardware and software installations and configuration activities both within the organization and at client sites • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance and over that amount with assistance • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations, meetings and client sites • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information. Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize. Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Ability to travel as needed. • Certifications and Training: • AIIM ECMp (Practitioner), or higher • AIIM ERMp (Practitioner), or higher • Comptia CDIA+ Pay range: $ 69,000- $ 89,000, depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of $10,000 subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: [https://cdw.benefit-info.com/](https://cdw.benefit-info.com/) Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
