We are seeking an experienced M&A Integration Senior Manager to plan and complete the integration of acquisitions, divestitures, and large strategic investments across all functions in the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integration strategies, validate synergy assumptions, support due diligence, and oversee execution to accelerate alignment realization and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. This role requires a strategic and operational leader with the ability to dive deep and complete the integration strategies. Additionally, working knowledge of a two-sided marketplace, strong accountability, comfort in ambiguous environments, and the ability to bring structure to complex projects will be critical. Finally, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to break down large enterprise challenges into bite sized pieces while leading the workstream execution activities to achieve deal success. This is a great role for somebody with an entrepreneurial spirit that wants to help evolve the M&A program for eBay.

What you will accomplish:

  • Integration Leadership: Lead collaborative integration planning and execution across the organization for vertical marketplace teams (e.g., Fashion, Collectibles, Parts & Automotive) and tech, product, and payments organizations. This frequently requires complex problem solving and financial modeling to support.

  • Integration Execution: This team extends beyond a project management team responsible for holistic deal success, which requires leading detailed workstream execution while navigating the eBay organization successfully.

  • Operational Execution: Frame acquisition rationale and priorities, develop detailed resource plans and timelines, and lead leadership forums providing integration updates.

  • Process Improvement: Create and refine integration playbooks, templates, scorecards, and work plans, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement of eBay’s integration processes using external expertise.

  • Alignment Implementation: Collaborate with partners to refine financial models, align them with execution plans, and manage post-deal integration efforts.

  • Communication: Develop comprehensive communication plans for all partners, manage conflicts, and align interests to convey strategic rationale and integration progress. Deliver multi-tiered communication programs via both written and verbal updates extending up to the executive team.

  • Project Management: Manage complex projects, coordinating with multiple collaborators to ensure timelines and deliverables are met using clear RASCI frameworks demonstrating leading project management tools.

What you will bring:

  • Strategic Thinking/Problem Solving: Ability to take complex projects and problem statements, break down into approachable component parts, and collaborate to resolve the problem statement.

  • Proven Execution: Experience of leading/owning cross-functional and large enterprise projects from end-to-end with success.

  • Self-Starter: Proactive learner able to quickly and easily learn and apply skills with a positive attitude. Entrepreneurial spirit is a plus.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.

  • Experience: Proven 8+ years of experience in leading strategy projects at a top-tier management consulting firm, M&A experience coming from investment banking, and commercial operating experience in a D2C organization.

  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and partners.

  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Corporate Development and M&A integration within the e-commerce industry, particularly with capability acquisitions.

  • Commercial Leadership: Experience in categories such as Fashion, Collectibles, Home, and Parts & Automotive is a plus.

  • Personal Attributes: Highly analytical, organized problem solver with a data-driven approach, high adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
