The role

We are seeking a talented Learning Experience Designer (LXD) to join the SoFi Technologies Talent Development team. This position will be responsible for designing and developing innovative, engaging content and curriculum for company-wide programs, including manager enablement, leadership development, performance and rewards, and  employee experience. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Design and develop learner-centered curriculum and content for various talent development programs, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles and organizational goals
  • Create engaging, interactive e-learning modules and blended learning experiences using cutting-edge instructional design methodologies and tools
  • Implement data-driven approaches to evaluate program effectiveness, leveraging analytics to inform continuous improvement of learning initiatives
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for diverse audiences, including managers and executives, using a variety of instructional techniques
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, People Team Centers of Excellence and senior leadership to identify development needs and opportunities
  • Contribute to change management strategies by developing targeted learning interventions that support organizational transformation

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design or Learning Sciences; or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in learning experience design, with a proven track record of creating impactful learning programs in a global, corporate environment
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
  • Expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, and e-learning best practices
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

Our new headquarters opened in 2019. The office provides an open work environment, an all-hands area, a café, library, coffee points on every floor, and executive conference rooms. The game room and roof-top lounge area provide space to take a break and look at the incredible downtown view.
