Position Summary:

CDK Global is seeking a Sr. Program Manager primarily associated with OEM and Enterprise engagement including short and long term project based work as well as ongoing certification requirements across CDK’s OEM and Enterprise customers.

  • Will work with the OEMS, CDK Business stakeholders, Product and Technology stakeholders to manage end to end programs providing a documented artifact for communicating information required for alignment with OEM and CDK stakeholders.
  • May also assist in analyzing OEM enhancements from OEMS to deliver solutions strategically.

Deliverables / Task Overview

Consultant will analyze the requirement documents to identify alignment of the CDK Vehicle Service system offerings, which include the following:

  • Review of current product offerings in the defined space and identify alignment with OEM requirements for both features and functionality.
    • CDK Service / Service Edge
    • Elead Service
    • Drive Parts & Service
    • Service Pricing
  • Review of other CDK offerings that may align with requirements but may not be expressly included in the above mentioned products.
  • Ensure alignment of business need with Product documentation that identifies CDK products with requirements to meet functionality deliverables of clients using recently established Product Management methodologies and artifacts
  • Produce Gap Analysis documentation when necessary that outlines areas where CDK is unable to meet the deliverables as outlined using recently established Product Management methodologies and artifacts
  • Work with OEM supplier directly (when required) to identify and define needs as expressed in documentation.
    • Assist in defining objective and functionality of requirements.
    • Reorganize and/or document desired functionality.
    • Provide internal CDK business owners clear understanding to meet objectives.
  • Work internally with CDK team as necessary to meet business objectives related to application(s) functionality. Related to the meeting of the defined requirements only.
    • ad hoc activities during month that may span different business units based upon need
  • May sometimes be required to create workflow diagrams, screen mock-ups and report calculations to assist in defining work required by CDK

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist / Create a well-defined roadmap in Aha that is available for stakeholders:
  • Becoming familiar with CDK’s CY23 Product strategy, Product Led initiatives and understanding both short and long term impacts of this strategy
  • Work with Product teams to understand their roadmaps and identify how OEM initiatives can benefits overall product improvements
  • Communicate the roadmaps to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide input in a consultative manner both with internal and OEM stakeholders for launch plans and execution
  • Management and peer level supported to help ensure success:
  • Acting as the voice of Product and Engineering to ensure OEM requests are within the capabilities of the product and creating real user value
  • Identifying scope creep, calling it out and finding solutions based on value, impact and monetization opportunity
  • Participating in regular Product organization meetings and education opportunities

Compensation: $115,000 - $150,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
