How You Will Make An Impact:

As a Lead, Marketing Analytics at ThredUp, you will be at the forefront of driving our data-centric marketing strategy. You will partner with cross-functional teams to harness the power of data, delivering insights that fuel growth and innovation. Your mission is to elevate our marketing efforts by developing advanced analytical models, optimizing multi-channel campaigns, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale efficiently, enhance customer experiences, and lead the resale industry with cutting-edge marketing strategies.

In This Role You’ll Get To:

  • Drive Data-Driven Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and execution of marketing analytics frameworks that guide strategic decisions across all channels, including digital, paid, and email marketing.

  • Optimize Campaign Performance: Utilize advanced analytics to measure, analyze, and optimize marketing campaigns, ensuring maximum ROI and customer engagement.

  • Work with Predictive Models: Support data science to build predictive models and algorithms that forecast marketing outcomes, customer lifetime value, and other key performance indicators.

  • Create Actionable Reporting: Design and implement real-time reporting and dashboards that empower teams to self-serve with actionable insights, enabling quick adjustments and strategic pivots.

  • Influence Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to align marketing strategies with business goals and drive cohesive execution.

  • Cohort & Channel Analysis: Conduct in-depth cohort analysis to identify opportunities for personalized marketing and targeted growth strategies.

  • Improve Data Infrastructure, tools, and visualization: Work with data engineering teams to enhance our data infrastructure, ensuring seamless access to high-quality data for all stakeholders and enable your stakeholders to self-serve with data 

  • Strategic Executive-Level Reporting: Develop and present executive-level reports that distill complex data into clear, strategic insights, influencing decision-making at the highest levels.

  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a culture of excellence in analytics, fostering continuous learning and innovation within the team.

  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends in marketing analytics, bringing innovative approaches and cutting-edge tools to ThredUp.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Analytical Expertise: 8+ years of extensive experience in marketing analytics, with a deep understanding of executive level and in-depth performance reporting and goal-tracking, multi-channel attribution, customer segmentation, and predictive modeling.

  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analytics tools, as well as familiarity with BI platforms like Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies that align with broader business objectives and drive growth.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, with strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Innovative Mindset: A passion for staying ahead of industry trends, constantly seeking out new tools and methodologies to improve marketing outcomes.

  • Data Storytelling: Exceptional ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and compelling way, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Growth Focus: An entrepreneurial spirit with a strong desire to contribute to a high-growth environment, constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with data.

At ThredUp, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $170,000 and $190,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Many ThredUp employees also have the opportunity to own shares of ThredUp stock. ThredUp employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, as well as a discount when purchasing ThredUp stock if voluntarily participating in ThredUp’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Subject to eligibility requirements, you’ll also receive other benefits: Comprehensive medical & dental coverage, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
