Lead Educational Sales Consultant, Pacific Northwest
IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Lead Educational Sales Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive growth and shape the future of both the IXL and Rosetta Stone K-12 platforms. This person will serve in a leadership role on the sales team, managing a team of 3-4 educational sales consultants. In addition, you will be responsible for your own small territory revenue target. The ideal candidate will have the ability to balance these responsibilities successfully.
This position reports directly to the Sales Director of the Western Region. This is a full-time remote position for candidates in either Washington or Oregon. #LI-TL2
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Establish sales strategy based on market conditions #LI-REMOTE
- Develop metrics in order to drive strategy and meet revenue expectations #LI-ORWA
- Provide leadership to a highly skilled team of sales consultants
- Establish and maintain an independent sales pipeline from a specific territory
- Develop a keen understanding of K-12 customer needs and values
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching throughout the sales process with your expert background in K-12 educational technology sales
- Track, forecast, budget, and monitor sales pipeline
- Meet individual contributor and team sales goals on a consistent basis
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- BA/BS degree in Education or related field
- Educational Technology Sales background
- Complete understanding of the K-12 market
- 3-5 years of experience in sales
- Prior sales management experience preferred
- Familiarity with Web-based technologies
- Direct classroom experience highly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Ability to apply energy and creativity to meeting sales goals
- Passion for bringing technology into the classroom
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 to $110,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
