Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Solution Engineer to support our sales and technical teams in delivering Syncrofy and IBM Sterling solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background and a strong interest in sales who wants to develop expertise in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), B2B integration, and supply chain visibility solutions.

As a Junior Solution Engineer, you will work closely with clients, helping them understand the value of our Syncrofy and IBM Sterling services. You will assist in product demonstrations, solution design, pre-sales support, and post-sales implementation coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, solution presentations, and client discussions.
  • Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and recommend Syncrofy and IBM Sterling solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop proof-of-concept solutions and address client concerns.
  • Provide technical documentation, respond to RFPs, and support proposals with solution details.
  • Work with senior engineers and project managers to ensure successful deployments as post-sales activities to ensure customer success
  • Stay up to date with EDI, B2B integration, and supply chain visibility trends, providing insights to clients.
  • Support customer onboarding and training sessions.



    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • 1-3 years of experience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or solution engineering role.
    • Familiarity with Syncrofy, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, or EDI/B2B platforms is preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), APIs, and data integration concepts.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with technical and business stakeholders.
    • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
    • Experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and integration technologies is a plus.
    • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in solution engineering and sales.
