What You Can Look Forward To:



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our manufacturing operations team. MRO warehouse team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, procuring, and managing inventory for maintenance, repair, and operations supplies. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in supply chain management while supporting the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.

What Will You Do?

  • Procurement: Assist in the procurement of MRO materials, including but not limited to: tools, parts, equipment, and consumables required for the maintenance and repair of machinery and facility operations.
  • Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Follow up with vendors to confirm order status and delivery timelines, correct freight methods used, and correct documentation submitted with each order.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and evaluate vendor performance to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Cost Management: Assist in tracking and analyzing spending to stay within budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational & purchasing efficiencies.
  • Data Management: Update and maintain accurate records of purchases, documentation, and supplier communications in the procurement software system.
  • Problem Resolution: Support the team in resolving any supply chain issues or delays, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all purchases meet company standards and comply with relevant safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain functions, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and experience with procurement software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
