About The Role:

As the team lead of the IT Systems Team, you will motivate and manage a team of IT Systems engineers directly responsible for optimizing and securing our SaaS application portfolio (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.) while supporting a culture around giving everyone the tools they need to succeed. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will have direct impact scaling an IT Systems team that emphasizes technical excellence, rapid iteration, strong security, and frictionless end user experiences as we continue to support applications and create system roadmaps and robust IT processes.

What You'll Achieve:

• Lead team efforts to build and improve automation efforts to protect against evolving threads for employee lifecycle management using critical business systems and role based IAM best practices
• Oversee and design a comprehensive IAM strategy and policies aligned with the organization's security posture, access governance, and compliance requirements
• Create and maintain team documentation around standard operation procedures, policies, and systems architecture

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

• 7+ years of relevant IAM solutions experience and 8+ years of general IT systems experience
• 5+ years of proven management experience in a fast paced environment
• Proven success building and configuring tools to automate identity management, enforce access governance, and provide role-based user access
• Experience in managing identity and access management tools (Okta) and integrating them to critical SaaS tools including, but not limited to, Notion, Slack, Zoom, GitHub, etc.
• Experience managing employee devices (macOS, Windows) and virtualized environments (AWS, VMWare) using device management software (Intune, Kandji, Munki) and endpoint operations (Chef, Fleet)
• Experience in implementing Zero Trust architecture in a corporate environment

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000 per year.
