Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic, customer service-oriented IT Specialist to support our prestigious Law Firm client in San Francisco. You will provide first level of voice and email support for all IT Helpdesk tickets and resolve all the tickets within SLA and if required can escalate and clearly communicate the problems to next level

Essential Job Responsibilities 

  • Provide support for technical requests and flex services with a "can do" attitude and philosophy

  • Maintain a positive team-player mentality

  • Field incoming support requests from end users via telephone, email and service desk system queue in a courteous and timely manner

  • Accurately communicate with client staff and EPIQ team members regarding commitments, deadlines, challenges, requests, etc.

  • Assist with conference room support for technology, including video conferences and laptop connections   Assist with managing the hardware inventory, monitor and distribute

  • Assist in troubleshooting problems with computers, printers, phones and other peripherals

  • Deliver on service commitments in a timely and accurate manner

  • Assist with deployment of new software, programs, and hardware swaps

  • Complete hardware moves (disconnect & reconnect at new location) 

  • Complete routine hardware checks on printers, copiers, and equipment

Required Characteristics and Credentials:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater

  • Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 100 lbs.

  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time

  • Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products pertaining to the specific position including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel etc.

Required Education, Knowledge and Experience

  • The successful candidate should have at least 3 years’ law office experience using computers and legal applications including comprehensive knowledge of DOS, Active Directory, Microsoft Office suites 2003 and above.
  • Possessing an A+ or similar computer degree or certificate is a plus.
  • An understanding of personal computers, printers, and remote access tools are required

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding and hands-on experience with audio visual set ups (laptop/projector connectivity, videoconferencing and teleconferencing set ups, TV’s, including Plasma, LCD, or LED).
  • Hands-on experience with WIFI: laptop cards and hot spots.
  • Excellent customer service and desk side support skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills.

The Compensation range for this role is 26.24 to 32.80 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
