Mission Summary:

The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in Oracle HCM system administration with proven functional and technical expertise. The HRIS Analyst will be a key member of the HR Ops/HRIS team partnering very closely with the Sr HRIS Analyst. They will be responsible for developing solutions and providing Oracle HCM system administration that ensures the best possible user experience through systems monitoring, system enhancements and problem solving for HR/Payroll processing. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the review, testing, and training for future Oracle HRMS upgrades and updates.

What you'll be doing:

  • Learn Motional’s organizational structure and key business units
  • Connect with partners in HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance establishing relationships and learning how each of their areas connect to the HRIS
  • Provide suggestions on ways to improve processes within the Oracle HCM system
  • Collaborate and partner with multiple teams to facilitate successful completion of projects
  • Provide world-class customer service to our employees ensuring inquiries/issues are addressed and resolved timely
  • Provide day-to-day HCM system support for all Motional end users, including researching and resolving HRIS issues, unexpected results or process flaws, perform scheduled activities, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with internal clients to identify opportunities and create system-based solutions that improve business process
  • Enter/Audit employee transactions with related actions and drive consistent and accurate data entry practice throughout the system and team
  • Conduct data validation activities including analysis, documentation, and conversion of current systems and data
  • Work through defining business requirements, ensuring the system is aligned 
  • Develop custom reports as required and optimize current reporting
  • Ensure the system aligns with our defined business processes.
  • Build controls into the system to allow for auditing and other sustainability activities
  • Maintain data integrity/accuracy in HR systems by regularly auditing/analyzing data.
  • Work with the L&D team to create user-friendly documentation and deliver training to end users on HR systems
  • Ensure all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the HRIS marketplace and system capabilities
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Partner closely with Sr HRIS Analyst and other HR Ops members on processes, projects, and tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

What we're looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience as a HRIS/HR Operations analyst or senior HRIS role
  • Project management expertise
  • Highly analytical and organized individual with experience in managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • HRIS data administration experience (Oracle preferred)
  • Experience with HCM implementations, testing of upgrades, patches and new applications to test new and existing functionality
  • Demonstrated contextual knowledge of the HR and Payroll functions & HR Operations processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office including Excel (pivot tables and lookup functions)

Bonus skills:

  • Oracle HCM system administration and functional experience 
  • Oracle BI reporting experience
  • Experience working in an ambiguous, fast paced environment
