About Paxos

Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.

We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard and Interactive Brokers.

About the team

The People Team is at the heart of building an exceptional employee experience and a thriving workplace culture. We partner across the business to attract, retain, and grow world-class talent, while ensuring our systems, processes, and policies scale with our global footprint. From strategic talent acquisition to day-to-day HR operations, we are dedicated to delivering thoughtful, high-impact support to every team member. As an HR Specialist, you’ll be joining a collaborative, people-first team that values innovation, empathy, and operational excellence.

About the role

The People Team is seeking an HR Specialist to collaborate closely with both the People and Talent Acquisition teams, supporting day-to-day HR operations, systems, and processes. This role will play a key part in delivering exceptional employee experiences and world-class service to our global workforce.

  • Provide first line of advice and counsel to address employee concerns and questions
  • Full ownership of the employee lifecycle experience
  • Provide support for HR programs and processes, including performance cycle and engagement surveys
  • Assist in the creation and execution of new policies, and ensure existing policies and SOPs remain up-to-date and aligned with regional and global standards
  • Maintain and analyze reports, identifying trends in employee relations, performance, talent assessments, and attrition data and use findings to develop and recommend solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging employee inquiries, HR systems and tools to automate and eliminate manual work where possible
  • Support the organization with employee related reporting, audit, and data integrity requests and initiatives

About you

  • Minimum 2-3 years of HR Coordinator/Specialist experience
  • Ability to manage data and perform analyses using excel and google sheets
