Description

Samsung SDS America (SDSA) is at the forefront of technological innovation, driving next-generation solutions across industries. Our new eProcurement SaaS product, Caidentia, is designed to transform procurement processes for businesses worldwide, offering a streamlined, efficient, and highly customizable solution. As Samsung SDSA continues to grow its SaaS portfolio, we are hiring our first Head of Product Management to lead Caidentia from concept to market success.

Position Summary:

As the Head of Product Management for Caidentia, you will play a pivotal role in defining the global product strategy, roadmap, and overall vision for the eProcurement platform. This role will be responsible for working cross-functionally with product development, engineering, sales, presales, and marketing teams to deliver a product that meets the dynamic needs of our customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in B2B SaaS, procurement technology, and a proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features.

This role will work closely with product development team based in South Korea to drive a cohesive, global roadmap for Caidentia. The ideal candidate is growth-oriented product management expert with deep expertise in SaaS, particularly within procurement, ERP, or supply chain technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy, Vision & Roadmap Development: Define and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for Caidentia, aligning with customer needs, market trends, and company goals.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, presales, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives and successful go-to-market strategy.
  • Customer-centric Product Development: Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to gather insights, prioritize features, and ensure that Caidentia is meeting the evolving needs of the procurement landscape.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Work with marketing and sales to develop product positioning, pricing strategies, and sales enablement materials to support a successful product launch.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation within the eProcurement space.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: This role will start as a single contributor, and eventually build and lead a team of product managers and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.


Requirements
  • 15+ years of industry experience, including 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in B2B SaaS technology.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing enterprise-level software products.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Expert level knowledge of procurement processes and industry best practices.
  • Experience launching eProcurement, supply chain, or supplier relationship management products from scratch.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data and customer feedback into actionable strategies.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and SaaS technologies, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering customer insights and translating them into successful product features and improvements.
  • Ability to leverage data to drive decisions and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with C-level executives, customers, and external partners.
  • Leadership experience, with a knack for mentoring and guiding teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the US, as well as abroad up to 35%.
  • Must be based in the US and able to work for any employer without restrictions.
