The Head of Partner Ecosystem and Verticals unit, you will lead the product management and engineering functions required to build and deliver the products needed for the success and growth of the business unit. The newly formed Ecosystem and Verticals Cloud will streamline our offering for our product readiness for Resellers, Channel Partners and Managed Service Provider ecosystem to help us scale our go to market. This BU will also focus on creating best-in-class last mile experiences for verticals like Healthcare, Hospitality, Education and Retail. The leader must have a strong understanding of the business, understand what is possible, and define success and outcomes within the product line. 

 This role will require a seasoned leader who has led teams taking a product line and building last mile experiences that help customers in verticals such as healthcare, hospitality, education buy and use our products with little to no friction. The leader will also demonstrate a deep understanding of the business and customer, provide clarity of the vision, drive strategy within the business unit while aligning with other business units for synergies and dependencies. The leader will also be a key member of Nextiva’s executive team and have demonstrated ability to work with leaders in other disciplines like sales, marketing, operations and finance.  

Key Responsibilities 

Product Strategy, Roadmap, and Vision: 

  • Define and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with the company's mission and goals. 
  • Develop and execute a roadmap that prioritizes feature development and product enhancements. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to shape product vision. 
  • Understanding Nextiva products, partnering with our sales teams and leaders, and defining how we build solutions targeted at specific business verticals.  

Product Development: 

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including product managers and software engineers, in designing, developing, and launching software products. 
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, with a focus on custom solutions targeted to business segments and verticals. 

Team Leadership: 

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of product managers, software engineers, and quality assurance professionals. 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the department. 

Strategic Planning: 

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align product development efforts with business goals and revenue targets. 

Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy: 

  • Plan and execute successful product launches, including collaborating with relevant internal teams on pricing strategies, sales enablement, and marketing efforts. 
  • Monitor post-launch performance and gather feedback for iterative improvements. 

Quality Assurance and Compliance: 

  • Ensure the highest levels of software quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

Budget Management: 

  • Manage the product development budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation and cost control. 

Qualifications 

  • College Degree in Engineering, Sciences and/or Business Management from a recognized university or equivalent. 
  • Proven experience in leading Product Management and Software Development for highly scalable and mission critical services.  
  • Experience between products in the Unified Communications and Collaboration space, UCaaS or CCaaS. 
  • Demonstrated ability in Agile Development Practices 
  • Managing teams and partners distributed around the world. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and present to stakeholders. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Our compensation packages are tailored to each role and candidate's qualifications. We consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, training, and certifications, when determining compensation. We aim to offer competitive salaries or wages that reflect the value you bring to our team. Depending on the position, compensation may include base salary and/or hourly wages, incentives, or bonuses. 

The expected hiring range is $325,000 - $450,000, including annual income incentive compensation.
