The Role

Head of Operations

The Head of Operations will play a critical role in overseeing our day-to-day operations and ensuring operational alignment with our business strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for leading the execution of our strategy and oversee legal, compliance, people operations, and financial operations. This position will require a strategic leader with experience scaling a hyper growth startup.


How you’ll make an impact

Strategic Leadership and Execution

    • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to refine and execute the company’s long-term strategic vision.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and operational strategies.
    • Establish KPIs and OKRs for operational excellence and scalability, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as necessary.

Financial Operations

    • Oversee all core operations, including card and mortgage product lines, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
    • Help us stand up and scale new financial products.
    • Drive operational processes for our card and mortgage business to ensure compliance, quality, and scalability.

People Operations

    • Help us attract, retain, and engage world class talent.
    • Create a high performing culture based on our defined values.
    • Help us scale our team from 20 to 2000+ over the next few years.

Legal and Compliance

    • Oversee the legal and compliance teams, ensuring all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory changes affecting mortgage and credit card operations, proactively adapting processes as needed.
    • Manage internal and external resources to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (8-10+ years) in operations, with a leadership role at a high-growth startup or fast-paced organization.
  • Experience overseeing mortgage and card financial operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
