Job Description
Head of Marketing and Strategy - Taste Elevation
Part of a high-performing team, the Head of Marketing and Strategy - Taste Elevation will collaborate closely with the Customer Sales Leads, finance, R&D and the CANAC leadership team to provide 360 short- and long-term strategic leadership, management and growth of the Taste Elevation portfolio in Canada.
Responsibilities
Strategic Vision: Defining and implementing comprehensive short- and long-term strategies that drive brand resonance, customer and category leadership, and financial plan delivery.
Collaborative Leadership: Spearheading brand initiatives through strategic collaboration, inclusive communication, and a shared sense of ownership. Collaborating closely with teams to define clear briefs, review results, and guarantee that all output consistently aligns with the brand's foundations and strategic objectives.
Brand Stewardship: A proud champion and caretaker of iconic brands like Kraft PB, Philly, Heinz, Kraft Salad Dressing and more, driving household penetration and market share growth.
Team Building: Developing the next generation of 360 Marketers, focusing on coaching high performing teams and growing capabilities across the marketing function.
P&L Management: Supervising a comprehensive P&L to ensure financial targets are met while maintaining operational excellence.
The Individual
Our ideal candidate brings a breadth of marketing experience gained in the consumer-packaged goods industry. The Head of Marketing and Strategy - Taste Elevation will bring deep experience leading 360 marketing strategies including brand management, innovation and communication. This leader will be a consumer athlete - a versatile and capable leader who brings an understanding of all levers that generate value while working at speed and agility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. They have a proactive, flexible and adaptable work style enabling them to lead and collaborate with cross-functional local and global teams.
Required Experience

  • Proven experience in leading diverse teams, ensuring collaboration between cross functional and global teams.
  • Strategic long-term planning capabilities, with a demonstrated history of developing and executing 3-5 year business strategies.
  • Expertise in data analysis and market feedback, utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic decisions for both in year and multi-year plans.
  • Experience in leading brand communications and creative development; comfortable at managing agency relationships and pushing a creative agenda.
  • Proficient knowledge of media and omni channel strategies with ability to assess and optimize the marketing mix to maximize ROI.
  • Forward-thinking approach to innovation development and strategies with experience in commercialization and moving from idea to execution.
  • Experience in defining, establishing, and tracking KPIs, with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable program success.
  • Proficiency with using multiple information sources for developing a demand forecast, i.e., orders, shipments, consumption, weeks of supply, revenue management, distribution, velocity, and more.
  • Experience owning and implementing brand P&L and revenue management decisions.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively across an organization.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$204,200.00 - $255,300.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.
