How You'll Make An Impact:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Integrated Marketing to lead the development and execution of our annual integrated marketing strategy, annual campaign calendar, and execution of those campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker and creative storyteller who can balance high-level vision with hands-on execution. You will own ThredUp’s top-of-funnel marketing initiatives, generating buzz, organic traffic, and word of mouth, while positioning ThredUp as a cultural force within our target audience. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to bring ThredUp’s brand to life in fresh, exciting ways, while orchestrating all brand communication across the funnel and channels. 

In This Role You'll Get To:

  • Define and implement ThredUp’s annual integrated marketing strategy and campaign calendar to drive brand awareness and cultural relevance.

  • Develop novel, breakthrough, and creative marketing strategies that resonate deeply with our target audience and position ThredUp as a leader in sustainable fashion.

  • Excel at understanding market opportunities, and identifying consumer insights to inform strategy.

  • Has a strong voice in building the ThredUp brand, from visual identity, messaging, and application. 

  • Write and execute creative marketing briefs that inspire innovative, impactful campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Develop and deliver campaigns that generate organic traffic, buzz, and word of mouth while shaping culture within our audience.

  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to execute campaigns that amplify our brand story.

  • Lead, coach, and grow a small but mighty integrated marketing team, fostering a high-performance, creative culture.

  • Collaborate with leaders across Growth, Product, PR, and Creative teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.

  • Present strategic plans, campaign ideas, and performance results to executive leadership.

  • Drive cultural relevance by developing and activating community partnerships, and experiential marketing, and other opportunities to influence communities and amplify ThredUp’s mission of sustainability and circular fashion.

  • Use insights and data to inform marketing strategies and measure the impact of campaigns on brand awareness, organic growth, and cultural impact.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 8+ years of integrated marketing experience, including at least 3 years at a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand or other top-tier consumer-focused company. Proven success in developing and executing high-impact marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and cultural relevance.

  • Creative Vision: Exceptional creative storytelling skills, with experience writing marketing briefs and developing campaigns that influence culture and communities.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to define big-picture strategies while managing the details of execution.

  • Collaboration: Highly collaborative with a natural ability to build cross-functional partnerships and align stakeholders.

  • Insight-driven: Skilled at using consumer behavioral data, and market or competitive insights to inform strategy

  • Culturally-tapped In: Has a finger on the pulse of what’s “cool” and applies shifting cultural trends, fashion, and other cultural moments to our marketing strategies and creative execution. 

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with a track record of coaching talent and fostering creativity, and experience shaping creative 

  • Experience working with small teams and companies and thriving in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

  • Background in experiential marketing, community-building initiatives, or partnership marketing

  • Strong understanding of organic marketing, PR, and social media strategies.

At ThredUp, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $180,000 and $200,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Many ThredUp employees also have the opportunity to own shares of ThredUp stock. ThredUp employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, as well as a discount when purchasing ThredUp stock if voluntarily participating in ThredUp’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Subject to eligibility requirements, you’ll also receive other benefits: Comprehensive medical & dental coverage, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
