Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Global Real Estate to lead our global real estate strategy, portfolio management, site selection, negotiations, and execution of real estate transactions. This role will be responsible for aligning real estate initiatives with the company’s rapid growth, optimizing office space across global locations, and ensuring financial efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate, strong negotiation skills, and experience managing projects in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
About The Role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global real estate strategy aligned with the company’s growth and business needs.
- Oversee the acquisition, lease negotiation, and management of all global office spaces, ensuring financial efficiency and scalability.
- Lead real estate transactions, including site selection, lease renewals, expansions, consolidations, and exits.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, finance, workplace operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure real estate decisions support overall business goals.
- Manage relationships with landlords, brokers, legal teams, and external partners to drive favorable terms and smooth execution of agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal interfaces, including department heads, HR, IT, and other relevant teams, gather their space needs, build strong relationships to ensure alignment between real estate decisions and offering suitable space for employee across different locations.
- Optimize space planning and utilization to create high-performance workplaces that enhance employee experience.
- Develop financial models and scenario planning for real estate investments, ensuring cost-effective and strategic decision-making.
- Stay ahead of market trends, emerging workplace strategies, and innovations in real estate.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in real estate, real estate strategy, or workplace operations, preferably in a high-growth tech company.
- Proven track record in managing global real estate portfolios and executing complex real estate transactions.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience handling lease agreements, property acquisitions, and landlord relationships.
- Expertise in space planning, workplace design, and real estate financial modeling.
- Ability to lead and influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, commercial real estate trends, and sustainability initiatives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
