We seek a highly motivated and experienced Head of Ecosystem Management to own and orchestrate Lightmatter's presence within key industry consortiums and drive joint go-to-market strategies with our partners. This role is crucial for driving Lightmatter's influence and ensuring our technology is at the forefront of industry standards and developments. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and act with excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities.
- Consortium Ownership. Take strategic ownership of Lightmatter's participation in key industry consortiums, including but not limited to OIF, IEEE, UALink, UEC, and UCIe, working closely with Lightmatter participants in these organizations.
- Strategic Alignment. Align Lightmatter's consortium activities with the company's overall strategic goals and product roadmap. Work closely with the supply chain to identify joint go-to-market opportunities with our vendors.
- Relationship Management. Build strong relationships with key consortium members, including technical experts, committee chairs, and other member companies. Work closely with the sales team to maximize impact for consortium interactions.
- Technical Contribution. Actively participate in technical discussions, working groups, and standards development efforts, contributing Lightmatter's expertise and insights.
- Advocacy and Influence. Advocate for Lightmatter's technology and vision within the consortiums, influencing the direction of industry standards and initiatives.
- Internal Coordination. Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication and maximize the impact of Lightmatter's consortium activities.
- Market Intelligence. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments within the consortiums, providing valuable insights to the company.
- Reporting and Communication. Regularly report to internal stakeholders on Lightmatter's consortium activities, progress, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience with at least 10 years of Product and Ecosystem development experience
- BS degree in a technical field
- Proven experience with industry consortiums and standards development processes
- Demonstrable track record of building and leveraging ecosystem to grow influence and end-user adoption
- Analytical decision-maker with a proven track record of leveraging data insights to drive strategic initiatives
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding presentation and persuasion skills
- Must have experience on board of key semiconductor and/or optics consortiums
- Must be able to present strategic vision and the ability to implement cohesive ecosystem-wide strategies, establishing Lightmatter as an industry thought leader

We offer competitive compensation. The base salary range for this role determined based on location, experience, educational background, and market data.

$258,000—$330,000 USD
